Please note that due to the national expansion of Early Learning and Childcare to 1140 hours, and the model being piloted within Perth and Kinross at COPECC, our hours have changed since Jan 2018 and are changing from August 2018. Please contact the Centre for the latest information.
Perth and Kinross Council have recently introduced an online service called Parent Pay to allow parents to pay snacks and lunches online. This means it is paid directly to the council and can be paid at a time convenient to you. You should have received a letter with your own personal login details to allow you to set-up your account. Please see your keyworker if you have not received this letter yet.
Snack and Toy Fund
Snack is provided at a cost of £2.00 a week for part-time children and £3.50 a week for full-time children. £1 of this cost (50p for part time) goes towards the nursery toy fund. Parents, children and staff are consulted on how toy fund money is spent. Snack is purchased for all children each week in anticipation of them attending, therefore we cannot reduce snack if children are absent through the week. Nursery snack money is compulsory, toy fund money is voluntary.
Snack is provided throughout each session and children are encouraged to recognise when they are hungry and choose when they wish to have snack.
The snacks we provide are healthy options and follow guidelines from the Setting the Table Guidance document. A selection of fruit is available each day and the children can choose milk or water to drink.
School meals cost £2.10 a day, unless you are entitled to free school meals. Please ask in the school office if you are unsure.
Free School Meal forms can be obtained in the school office and MUST be handed in to Pullar House. You will have to pay for lunches until your application is approved.
Lunches are provided for our full-time and afternoon children. The children are offered a choice of two healthy main courses, with either a dessert or soup, providing a healthy, balanced meal each day. If your child has any special dietary requirements, please speak to a member of staff and they will give you details on how to make arrangements for special meals to be provided.
